Warning - The LED battery packs and lights sit at the bottom of the chess pieces and occupy the portion of the base that some customers add sand or water to in order to add weight to the chess pieces. With the LED version of the sets, you can not add sand or water to the base of the set as it will damage the LED battery packs.
